Spring Fling and Taste of Union

The Mon-Aetna Praise Band entertained the crowd at the Spring Fling and Taste of Union.More from the Mon Aetna Praise BandEveryone seemed to enjoy all of the music at the event.

Main Street was blocked off from Mountain Street to Arthur Boulevard to accommodate those coming to the event.The USC-Union Music Club opened the entertainment.The sun was bright on a beautiful spring evening in Union County.

UNION CHRISTMAS PARADE AND TRUCK FULL OF TOYS

Many thanks to the Salvation Army for coordinating the distribution of the toys, as well as for our sponsors' and donors' generosity in donating toys for the drive!

After the parade, WBCU and Salvation Army personnel unloaded the Trucks Full of Toys for distribution later this weekThese were some of the last people lined up to watch the paradeThe Courthouse steps were one of the popular places from which to watch the parade

Channel 14 was on hand recording the proceedingsTyler Shugart enlisted the help of his brother to pass out some of the candy (at least we hope he passed it out!)Everyone was in a good mood and many waved as the Truck Full of Toys passed by

UNION COUNTY'S VETERANS' DAY PARADE AND CEREMONY

JONESVILLE K-8 SCHOOL PICTURES
